On Saturday, July 27th Havens Sag Harbor hosted Five at Five. The event featured personal appearances from five of Havens favorite beauty + accessory brand founders. Designers included Scot Nelson, Holly Tupper, Evelyn Subramaniam, Lauren Powell and Lynn Petrocelli. Havens offers a wide variety of products from perfumes and CBD products to body oils and hair scrunchies. Such a fun shop and so many yummy smells!

CHIC ACCESSORIES: Designer Scott Nelson created Scotstyle with sleek, opulent, classic and chic designs. The products in store were made from a variety of materials including crocodile. Scot is passionate behind the fashion of his designs and even donates a portion of his sales “back to combat poaching of elephants.” Check out more fun products and designs HERE. 

SMOOTH SCENTS: Featured perfume and jewelry designer Holly Tupper founded her company Cultus Artem by focusing on creating unique scents and jewelry. She wanted to create a wide variety of products to reach all kinds of clients. Her one unique scent, Alba, was inspired by the smell of Magnolia trees back in her time living in Singapore. REVITALIZING OILS: Evelyn Subramaniam, creator of Bija Essence, offers a wide variety of  therapeutic Body Oils. This was a personal favorite because her line stresses the crucial importance of clean and toxin-free skincare products. Plus, I got a hand massage. Her four featured oils are Rise- used for immune support, Revive- used for sore muscles, Rejoice- used for dull, fatigued skin, and Rest- used for calming and relaxation. SILKY HAIR DREAMS: Lauren Powell founded her luxurious hair scrunchy company Le Pow Pow when she couldn’t find a chic hair scrunchy and saw the gap in the market to start her own company. Her scrunchies are made from a variety of textiles like velvet and bandana. She explained that scrunchies are better for the hair because they reduce breakage and are easier on the hair. RELAX WITH NATURE: As a Family Nurse Practitioner, Lynn Petrocelli created her company Rooted Health & Wellness to help others receive care and comfort right at home. Her line of CBD products is one of two in the united states that goes through double filtration to ensure that no THC is present in the CBD products. The line offers CBD creams to soothe achy muscles and CBD oils to be used right under the tongue or added in a daily coffee or smoothie. Read more about Rooted HERE.
