Okay KDHamptons readers, it’s week two of our new relationship with the Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation. As promised, each week KDH will showcase a compassionate cat and devoted dog who are looking for a new loving home. Linda Goldsmith [of SASF] will share pet profiles of the little guys looking for your love. The SASF is an incredible organization on the East End whose mission is to provide for the welfare of animals and reduce the number of homeless pets. They do not turn animals away who need their help. Let’s help them find a home for the holidays for Cha Cha and Chewie [pictured below].

Remember: Your pet will never disappoint you, always love you, gush with excitement when you walk through the door, and always be ready to give you a hug or a kiss! Who doesn’t need a little bit of that?

Charlotte [aka Cha Cha] is a 4-year old rescue from Hempstead Animal Shelter. She came here with her 3 babies and they were adopted. Charlotte has been at the shelter for a while and so she decided to dress up to show people how good she can look on a Christmas Card! Her face looks like a Picasso painting with the beautiful black and white markings. She is very “dog social,” loves people, and is one of the staff favorites at the Southampton Animal Shelter!  KDHamptons readers~ please make it a good Christmas for Cha Cha!

Chewie is a handsome 7-year old declawed brown tiger cat! He is a big boy with an even bigger heart! His owner had no time for him and now he waits for a forever home whilst helping out in the Outreach Coordinator’s office! Have you seen a mouse running around your Hamptons home?
