Okay KDHamptons animal lovers, let’s keep up the rescue effort! Save a Life—Adopt a Shelter Pet…

Here are two new furry friends we want to feature this week courtesy of the Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation who need our help finding them a home:

Buttkus is about 1 & 1/2 years old and SASF rescued  him off the street as he was an emaciated stray! Poor Buttkus had rocks in his stomach and was all skin and bones, yet despite his hardships he has a huge heart and constantly wags his “happy tail!”  With his infectiously strong and sweet spirit, Buttkus loves people of all sizes and he is now healthy enough to join our playgroup with other dogs. He may need to be taught little things, like the fact that he is too big to be a lap dog (he’s such a lover) but he’s proven to be a fast learner.

Muriel is a beautiful 4-year old black & white kitty who adores attention. Sadly, Muriel doesn’t know what a home is outside the shelter as she has been housed at SASF since she was a kitten. However, being the charming “diva” she is, Muriel wouldpurringly accept an invitation to go home with you!
