A mirror is a time tested design trick; it can instantly make a room appear larger, brighter and more alive. KDH has been shopping for an exciting new mirror for my dressing room and came across some fabulous finds at SUITE New York, which is a mid-century modern and contemporary furniture showroom open to the trade and to the public. Details: Gil Specchi di Dioniso collection of mirrors was designed by the esteemed Italian architect and designer, Ettore Sottsass. Details: The Koh-I-Noor, which means “Mountain of Light” in Persian, is one of the largest diamonds in the world. Nanda Vigo designed the Koo-I-Noor standing mirror to resemble the famous diamond. The irregular shape, faceted perimeter and special chamferings of varying depth and inclination lend Kooh-I-Noor a stunning reflective quality that is as lavish as it is unique.
