Having just celebrated her 25th anniversary, Temple St. Clair contributes a distinct acumen on the artistry of gold and colored gemstone jewelry-making. The 2011 ACE Lifetime Achievement Award winner is known for her modern-Byzantine aesthetic with collections that combine the mystery and romance of the past with an elegant use of color and clean, modern lines.
Born in Virginia, Temple studied classical art, literature, and the Italian Renaissance at Smith College in Florence, Italy. Spending over a decade in Europe, Temple still draws her inspiration from the Mediterranean basin. She has been collaborating with Florence-based master artisans since the inception of the brand and continues to pursue traditional techniques and the old-world quality that is seldom seen in modern jewelry.
