Albert Einstein College of Medicine Hosts 23rd Annual Wild Wild West Carnival Family Day at the Ross School in Bridgehampton!
On Sunday, August 5th, the Albert Einstein College of Medicine hosted their 23rd Annual Wild Wild West Carnival Family Day at the Ross School in Bridgehampton.
Family Day has been attended by approximately 1,300 children and adults and raised an average of $400,000 in recent years. Each year sets new records as the buzz continues to spread! The event is co-chaired by Alison Hirshman Brettschneider, Marlowe Bamberger, Mindy Feinberg, Jackie Harris Hochberg and Lyss Stern.
With loads of activities and games for kids, and a special performance and meet-n-greet with Elizabeth Gilles, [Jade from Nickelodeon’s Victorious]~ families and friends were in for a special treat!
Royal Pains star, Mark Feuerstein [below] enjoyed some of the activities with his children, while actress Bridget Moynahan [below] attended with her family and friends.
Families were treated to an array of fun summer activities including: arts and crafts, family photos, a bungee bull, giant slide, inflatable bouncers, petting zoo, pony rides, western dress-up, an obstacle course, carnival booths, cupcake decorating, face painting, balloon artists, western hairstyles courtesy of Cozy’s Cuts for Kids, and temporary tattoos by Glitter Toos!
The western themed carnival featured games, rides, exciting contests like a scavenger hunt, freeze dancing, hula hooping, a potato sack race, parent/child tug-of-war, watermelon eating and a water balloon toss!
Contributions from the event will help advance cutting-edge research aimed at discovering treatments and potential cures for ovarian, uterine, cervical and breast cancers, conducted by some of the nation’s leading medical experts at Einstein’s Albert Einstein Cancer Center.
