NEW KDHamptons Party Pix: "Behind The Hedges" Benefit to Fund Child Abuse Prevention and Awareness

On Saturday, August 5th, Hamptonites ventured “Behind The Hedges” to fund and increase awareness on preventing child abuse. Hedge Funds Care Young Professionals Committee hosted the event at the stunning Southampton Social Club and raised over $60,000!  The beautiful summer evening consisted of music by DJ Cameron Smalls, cocktails, decadent hors d’oeurves, and a silent auction of various luxury items donated by Mr. Porter, Theory, Soul Cycle, various Golf Clubs and more.

Hedge Funds Care was launched in 1998, and has been awarded over $29 million in nonprofit grants to help fight child abuse while showing that hedge funds do, indeed, care. Now an international movement, the organization continues to grow with events from Los Angeles, Minneapolis, New York to London, Toronto, and Grand Cayman. They have succeeded in showcasing the philanthropy of the hedge fund industry and raising as much money as possible to fund the programs that do the preventing and treating of child abuse.
