WOW! Check out this amazing NEW KDHamptons Party Diary we just received from gorgeous Christina Galesi, who blows off some steam from her daily gig as Senior Global Real Estate Advisor and Licensed Salesperson with Sotheby’s International Realty each year by hosting a Hamptons Halloween blowout of epic proportions. Take a sneak peek at the seriously spooky party below:

Christina tells KDHamptons: This was our 12th Annual Halloween Costume Party and it takes me literally 3 weeks to transform the house into a “Haunted Mansion” for the kids to trick-or-treat in, as well as the outside Eyeball Popping Cottage, Grave yard, Spooky Lab, eery lighting and then this year the addition of the Disco Tent. This whole Halloween Party started when my first child India was born over twelve years ago and the first party was a bunch of 6-month olds who couldn’t even walk, yet were in full costume propped up on our couch! I had a few cute spiders hanging around and Elmo’s and Pooh Bears dressed up in costumes just to make it festive….

Our party quickly upgraded from a kids party to decorating the house and having lots of Halloween interactive gadgets throughout the house for the kids to press and then take a candy and put it in their goody bags as if they were Trick-or-Treating, but the trail was all in our house. Then, the next year we added the exterior atmosphere with lots of games to play where they could win prizes. So every year this party has been building to fit the needs of the kids–we even had a mechanical bull a couple of years, but these last two years my focus is turning this into a Halloween Costume Disco Party for people with kids or without kids.

Some of our guests bring their kids for a bit, then drive them home and come back to dance. Halloween is such a fun night where everyone gets so creative and dresses up in the most outrageous costumes and that in itself has made this party a riot every year, but add a dance floor under a tent, throw in my obsession with cool lighting, a funky playlist and a DJ and now you have a PARTY that’s fun for everyone. As a product of the 80’s with great memories of all those nights dancing at Studio 54 and Xenon, I love anything that glows in the dark, and any music with a funky beat hence, this year, we had a blast dancing to “Rappers Delight”, “Funky Cold Medina”, “Brick House”, and “September”.

I have a really high pressure job in real estate [No joke — Christina has produced well over $220 million in sales!] and this is my one creative outlet that I do every year that allows me to give back to my friends and neighbors and it makes me happy knowing that I’m bringing joy to others. We dress up, we laugh at each others costumes, we eat, we drink, we dance like crazy and it lifts our spirits. Looking forward to lifting more spirits for the 13th Annual Galesi-Grant Halloween Costume Party. See you next year!
