NEW KDHamptons Photo Diary: Marders 40th Annual Holiday Open House
KDH kicked off the holiday season at Marders 40th Annual Open House over the weekend clinking cups of hot apple cider and sampling various homemade sprinkled cookies with Hamptons revelers. You won’t find any Charlie Brown Christmas trees here folks, but you will find dapper Charlie Marder and his talented team of garden designers, wreath makers, flower arrangers, and artisans happily displaying their couture Christmas extravaganza which is simply breathtaking.
From Christmas trees laden with pheasants and white doves, to topiary mannequins festooned with floral headdresses, every inch of Marders Garden Center inspires “oohs & ahhs”. Get inspired to plot a creative new design scheme for your Christmas tree this year, or scope out some great holiday gift ideas as well. Marders Annual Open House is a special Hamptons treat that is not to be missed! Go get in the holiday spirit!!
Nick Marzano from the Wildlife Rescue Center of the Hamptons was on site with a selection of animals including hawks and owls they have rescued. After taking in the splendid seasonal decor in the garden center, guests headed out back to the Holiday Reception at the Silas Marder Gallery.
