Green Juice
“Green juice is my thing. I drink it every morning. The antioxidants give me a boost of energy. Chef Jill Pettijohn created this recipe for me. It is very simple— you can add in and substitute other green fruits and vegetables when they come into season.” ~ Donna Karan
[ingredients]2 Green apples
4 celery stalks
1 cucumber
2 kale leaves or other available greens
1/4 white cabbage
1/2 lemon, peeled[/ingredients]
[instructions]Pass everything through a juicer. Blend with 1/4 avocado if desired, for added thickness.[/instructions]
