Who doesn’t love a fall road trip? Last weekend, KDHamptons hopped on a train bound for Millbrook in upstate New York to check out the newest Discovery Land Company property. Renowned for its development of some of the world’s most exclusive private clubs, Discovery Land Company unveils Silo Ridge Field Club, only 90 minutes from Manhattan, and encompassing 850-acres in the historic Hudson River Valley. Silo Ridge is the Discovery’s first community in the Northeast, ensconced among preserved wildlife corridors, horse farms and vineyards and featuring an 18-hole Tom Fazio-designed golf course.

My favorite part of the event was the fantastic “farmer’s market” offered upon departure showcasing a bounty of local farm vegetables, pumpkins, gourds and more, to fill guests Silo Ridge bags [above].

 

 

 

 

 

 

Silo Ridge will feature a Tom Fazio-designed, 18-hole golf course that is poised to set a new standard for golf in the Northeast. Situated amidst a backdrop of stunning hillside views and rolling meadows, the golf course will feature first-class service for golfers of all skill levels as well as beautifully sculptured fairways which appeal to the mind as well as the eye.
