“I find design inspiration at the beach,” shares English Country Home co-owner Zoe Mead [above]. “It is my favorite place to relax and unwind with my husband, Chris. I spread out a large 19th C French heavy linen and hemp sheet  as a beach blanket with a big wool wrap I brought back from Uruguay.  My mother decorated with French linens everywhere so they are part of my upbringing. I love the texture mixed with weights and color. Speaks of a simpler life.”
