KDHamptons recently caught up with gorgeous Montauk resident London Rosiere [above], the “Head Kid” at her Camp SoulGrow, which inspires children’s growth from the inside out.  Camp SoulGrow is a non-profit movement offering various creative classes and opportunities: crafting, dancing, volunteering, painting, planting, reading, singing, giving and growing.  Montauk offers an environment for children to cultivate their creative energy and begin to grow strongly into their true selves.  London has put together three fantastic fall events [below], let’s all lend London – and the kids – our support this holiday season.

 Thanksgiving Turkey Drive!

This Saturday, November 19, is our 3rd annual Turkey Drive with the Clamshell Foundation! We will be delivering 108 Thanksgiving Turkeys via our SoulGrow Bus to families and organizations across eastern Long Island that are in need.  We will be meeting at the Camp SoulGrow Studio at 9:30am, the Amagansett IGA for 10am, making stops, then finishing at the Montauk Fire Department at 1:00 for a special feast!  Signup at info@campsoulgrow.org to reserve your apron, spot the bus, and seat at the feast!

Christmas Spectacular at Gurney’s!

On Saturday, December 17, from 2-4 pm, Camp SoulGrow and the Candied Anchor will transform the Grand Ballroom at Gurney’s Montauk Resort into a Christmas Candyland Spectacular for all kids and families to enjoy!  Come enjoy Christmas Karaoke with Harry, Cookie Decorating, Gift Making, Reindeer Games, Photos with Santa, and a Virtual Candyland with a Hot Chocolate Bar!!!

Head Kid Climbing Kilimanjaro!
