KDHamptons loves popping by Design House of the Hamptons to check out their latest luxe projects. Super stylish owners Suzanne Caldwell and Maria Greenlaw are famous for creating chic, streamlined modern interiors, layered with classic elements. We had to share these pretty pix of a house they are working on in Derring Harbor. Suzanne loves “the mix of combining simple, classic pieces with organic elements like wood, stone and natural materials.”

The design duo also loves to repurpose outdated antiques by reupholstering them in graphic hand-blocked fabrics. “Our Derring Harbor client wanted to throw out the sofa (pictured above); She gushed when she saw how gorgeous it looks now with a simple fabric facelift!” (fabric by Carolina Irving Textiles) The Design House mantra is that “easy beach living does not have to mean casual.” Adding a few custom pieces can take a simple small room over the top with style.
