Even though it drives my husband bananas, KDH loves to receive catalogs: whether they sell clothes, bedding, furniture, table top, or shoes- you name it…I think it’s fun to flip through it! I think working in the fashion and magazine industry for 17 years qualifies me as a power shopper, which means: I can edit my way up Madison Avenue without buying anything I regret from my favorite designers, and it also means that I know how to spot a great bargain item when it comes my way sans snobbery. Case in point: KDH just received this catalog from Garnet Hill. Not sure why, as I have never ordered from them before but hey, I’m happy to look! Sure enough I found this great boot which is perfect for Hamptons Fall fashion: the Isabella boot.
The Italian-made classic riding boot comes in polished leather or a mix of leather and suede. Two adjustable straps with gunmetal buckles add an equestrian detail. The boots pull on with an easy half zipper and are knee-high or can be folded over at the top. Another plus is that they have a rubber sole which is great for East Enders because of rain and snow. The style is perfect for wearing over leggings, skinny jeans or tights.
