Classic Hamptons mainstay the Old Stove Pub reopened their famed doors this summer to celebrate it’s 51st year on the East End.   The iconic restaurant, live music venue, and celebrity favorite returns to the dining scene newly restored and featuring new culinary offerings along with some classic favorites we all know and love.

After being closed for renovations three years ago, and briefly put on the market for sale, new operator and restaurant owner Joseph DeCristofaro turned the Old Stove Pub’s classic neon sign on for business once again. “The Old Stove Pub holds a special place in the hearts of Hamptonites,” notes Mr. DeCristofaro. “The history of the Pub is so rich, and restoring this property was a true labor of love.  We are proud to introduce the new and improved Old Stove Pub back into the community at this moment and looking forward to a very special summer and fall.”

Mr. DeCristofaro, a Southampton local born and raised in the Hamptons, is a local Real Estate Broker, real estate investor, and entrepreneur.  A hospitality industry veteran, Mr. DeCristofaro’s past endeavors include numerous restaurants in the Hamptons and elsewhere.

Located at 3516 Montauk Hwy in Sagaponack, the Old Stove Pub is open for dinner service Wednesday – Sunday, and will stay open year-round – YES!!  Bistro style dining and cocktail areas make for the perfect al fresco setting. With customer safety and safe distancing a major concern, the Old Stove Pub has transformed a large grassy space offering picnic tables, waitress service and lite fare perfect for family dining.  Indoors also offers several dining areas as well, with plenty of room for social distancing.

Diners can expect a Greek and Mediterranean influenced and locally sourced menu, featuring some of the Old Stove Pub’s best-known classic dishes such as the Sagaponack Dry Rubbed Steak and Greek Salad – just to name a few. Returning guests will be pleased to find the famed piano tuned and carefully relocated to the porch, as well as the signature artwork by Leroy Neiman still intact in the indoor dining room.
