Design Darling Veronica Beard Opens In Southampton
The grand opening of the Southampton Veronica Beard store was a hit! The designer duo (and sisters-in-law) wowed the crowd with their stunning new summer collection presented in a beautiful Main Street boutique filled with photography prints by Claiborne Swanson Frank Flower Collection.
The ready-to-wear brand Veronica Beard opened its first Southhampton store location on East Walton Street in late May 2021. It is the fifteenth U.S. retail location and largest stare to date at 2,562 square feet. As with every Veronica Beard store, the space was created to bring the brand to life and connect to the community. It is where the team gets to know the VB woman- who she is, what she loves and how she shops. The assortment has been curated to reflex her needs and lifestyle. Through the unique design of this store, Veronica Miele Beard and Veronica Swanson. Beard have created a space that is not only a place to shop but also a place to gather and be inspired.
Claiborne Swanson Frank introduces her first series of Modern Botanicals. The series of ethereal floral portraits, bathed in natural light, were captured in the quiet moments of quarantine. Known for her iconic portraits of women, Claiborne turns her lens on to many of the universally beloved flowers: documenting their beauty and ability to inspire, uplift and heal. Claiborne collaborated on this series with her young son Hunter, during days at home with her family. His small hands remind us of the powerful relationship of humanity and our connection to the natural world. This fine art series will launch this spring, bringing Claiborne’s unique point of view and talents to the world of design.
