Designer Scott Sanders Brings Palm Beach to Life

With blues that WOW and prints that intrigue, interior design expert, Scott Sanders, perfectly captures Palm Beach’s glowing energy in his latest work at this year’s Kips Bay Palm Beach Decorator Show House and KDHamptons shares the behind the scenes design details, below…

Parsons School of Design graduate, Scott Sanders, began his professional career at Ralph Lauren where he led the company’s interior design department, transforming residences for clients in California, Florida, New York, Connecticut and Paris. This led to Sanders opening his full-service design firm in 2000. The firm specializes in bespoke residential interiors and has a distinguished portfolio which includes homes in New York, Florida, New Jersey, Colorado, Arizona, California and the Caribbean as well as three iconic hotels.

Scott Sanders designed the family room to celebrate Palm Beach’s colors and materials in a contemporary way.

The foundation and palette inspiration of his design was a Pierre Fray fabric which he built off of with a custom Sacco carpet and Philip Jeffries grasscloth wallcovering that celebrates Florida’s indoor/outdoor lifestyle.
