Sharing some behind the scenes footage from the Victoria Magazine shoot at my Hamptons home, Maple Shade,  this past week. What a great day working with Victoria’s amazing team @melissa.s.smith & @stephanie.w.steele. It’s always fun for me to see how other people photograph our gardens & home and I can’t wait to see their beautiful issue in hand in a few months. Thanks for flying up Victoria ladies, and also big thanks to my KDHamptons summer crew Emmy Sammons & Lucie Lott. Producing a six page design + garden + entertaining feature in one day is no easy feat. Check out my IGTV video from the day HERE.

We set up eight different shots throughout my home and property.  Each vignette featured a different set of linens, flowers, and table top decor including my vintage collections of Dresden. Stephanie Lessing of Millstone Flowers created incredible rose and peony arrangements as well as a tiered chocolate cake decorated with pink baby rose buds.

I stocked my garden fountain with pretty bottles of Mionetto Prosecco Rosé and Organic which matched the  colors of my garden.

We also shot the clawfoot tub in my master bath with heaps of roses in blue and white ginger jars and beautiful bath products. Such a great shoot and I can’t wait to see the final product.
