Bravo!! Check Out Exclusive KDH Photos Of The 2011 Hamptons Designer Showhouse In Bridgehampton!
The 2011 Hampton Designer Showhouse threw their annual kickoff party on Saturday July 23rd in a charming, traditional shingle style house in Bridgehampton built by All Seasons General Contracting. Now in their eleventh year, this season’s Showhouse was presented by Traditional Home to benefit Southampton Hospital. “An exceptional group of interior designers participated, each of whom transformed their space into a highly personal vision of the ultimate summer house, ” says co-chairs Mario Buatta, Jamie Drake, and Alexa Hampton. Adding, “There is so much original and intriguing design here to take in, learn from and enjoy. We can assure you that you will come away with many new inspirations for your own home and lifestyle.”
KDH loved meandering through the different floors and rooms in the Showhouse. There were two apparent overall palette trends happening in the house: soft, sea foam blues, steel grays and shades of white contrasted by hyper-bright orange, teal, and emerald green tones. Patricia Fisher’s beautiful bedroom was so inviting we wanted to shut the door and pretend we were home. The diminutive designer shared, “The palette reflects the sea, the sand and the sky, those unique qualities of the Hamptons that soothe and delight us all.” Joy Tribout and daughter Tammy Caruso created an equally handsome/feminine bedroom that would be perfect for any new couples first home. Risk-taking Tobi Fairley saturated the upstairs bedroom with a bold emerald green toile headboard and pillows, paired accessorized with melon colored bedding and lemon yellow stools. So much fun!
