Inspired by the locations popular 90’s bar Wild Rose, Zigmund’s Bar has announced that it will host live music Friday, August 26. The Dan Bailey Tribe will play from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. Additional promotional nights at Zigmund’s on a weekly basis include: Industry Night on Monday; Karaoke Night on Tuesday (9 p.m.); Retro Sounds with Drop D on Saturday and Reggae Sundays featuring $5 Red Stripes. As well Happy Hour is offered nightly from 5:30 p.m. until sunset and features $5 rosé, beer and lamb chops. The kitchen is open late every night.

Dan Bailey Tribe presents soul funk reggae inspired by the wanderlust of an endless summer. A native of New York’s infamous Hamptons, Bailey’s South African roots and his command of the West African djembe channel a vibration of celebration. Bailey was raised in a loving family of starving artists, growing up in harsh contrast to the extreme wealth of the surrounding Hamptons. He taught himself guitar, and received the gift of rhythm from his godfather Babatunde Olatunji, world-renowned Master Drummer and cultural ambassador.

Cocktails will be featured on tap batched with fresh herbs. There’s a vodka soda, but not your typical vodka soda, this one is housemade with lemon verbena vodka, lemon balm and citrus zest marinated for 24 hours and batched for the tap. Another spin on a classic is the Aperol twist featuring Channing Daughters Rosé, Aperol and hibiscus water also served on tap. Zigmund’s will offer a “Bespoke” menu featuring housemade shrubs from fresh local fruits, vegetables and herbs. These shrubs can be paired with spirit of choice, topped off with soda resulting in an epic summer cooler. A small but tasty bar menu will feature Weiner’s take on Greek inspired dishes.
