Looking to update your haute Hamptons home? Legendary designer Anthony Baratta is featuring his chic new collection of Thomasville furniture at his shop in Westhampton Beach. The collection celebrates his contemporary take on his classic designs that fit perfectly in a beach house or in a city apartment. The shop will also feature his collections for Capel Rugs and Wildcat Territory Bedding.

A new shop next door is dedicated to his antiques and vintage finds that have become the hallmarks of his American style decor. Always interesting antiques combined with the most special one-­of-­a-­kind upholstered furniture. Each year, a new fantasy theme is created for the showrooms − such as a rose covered Southampton cottage, a Sag Harbor Sea Captain’s library,­ even an elegant dining room in a Federal house on Quogue’s Main Street. This year’s theme is all about contemporary design, with a Beach house on Dune Road in mind.

The collections share a common thread of nautical style and a bold use of color. “What I started as a hobby became a design laboratory for myself and my talented team. We want the shops to be both a source of inspiration and a destination to find those special pieces that make a home personal and unique. We want the place to be a full-­service decorating shop and we always enjoy the challenge of creating new pieces or revamping a client’s existing ones,” shares Anthony.

“The shops have become a kind of Westhampton Beach tourist destination. I love when folks stop by for the first time. It’s so great welcoming them into my world of design.
