Don't Fret If You Have A Sick Pet: Dr. Sarah Of Hamptons Housecalls Will Come To Your Rescue!
If you have a pet in the Hamptons, chances are you may have needed veterinary care in the evening after most animal hospitals are closed. Enter Dr. Sarah, founder of Hamptons Housecalls, a house call practice here on the East End.
Dr. Sarah attended St. Kitts’ Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine for three years before returning stateside for her clinical rotations at Cornell University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2006.
She took an associate veterinarian position with the East Hampton Veterinary Group in 2008, and began working with The Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons (ARF) during her spare time. A year passed and she found herself transitioning to a full-time position with ARF, where she is now responsible for the health and welfare of over 100 animals.
Through ARF, Dr. Sarah is also able to help save the lives of dogs rescued from kill shelters in South Carolina, street dogs in Puerto Rico, and puppy mill dogs across the nation, most notably in the Midwest through a partnership with Best Friends Animal Society.
In 2009, Dr. Sarah teamed up with Meals on Wheels and began providing low-cost veterinary care for their disabled, elderly and home bound clients.
