The "9 EAST END REALISTS" Exhibition Opens October 8th At Ashawagh Hall
On Columbus Day weekend, a curated exhibit features original paintings by nine artists kicking up some artistic dust, living and working on the east end of Long Island. The chosen artists were invited to exhibit their latest works for three days only over Columbus Day Weekend in East Hampton at the historic venue, Ashawagh Hall. Southampton landscape painter Eileen Dawn Skretch organized this show to highlight the newest works by distinguished artists, subject matter from landscapes to still life, fish and critters and more.
From tiny bespoke still life gems to bigger statement wall-embracing pieces. Paintings on panel, linen and canvas. The public is invited to see and be amazed at the breadth and passion inspired by the East End with works by: Emma Ballou, Aubrey Grainger, Ann Lombardo, Keith Mantell, Lucille Berrill Paulsen, Leo Revi, Joanne Rosko, Eileen Dawn Skretch, Pamela Thomson
‘9 EAST END REALISTS’ welcomes the public from Saturday, October 8th to Monday, October 10th, from 11 to 5pm, and attend the Meet-the-Artist Reception on Saturday, October 8, 5:00 to 8:00pm. Hear their stories, see their work, ask questions.
