Dan’s Taste of Summer is back for the season, heating up the East End this July with an incredible lineup of culinary events that will offer Hampton foodies unforgettable evenings dining under the stars as they sample the fabulous dishes created by the top Manhattan and East End chefs, enjoy live music and mingle with celebrity hosts. Here’s the scoop!

Dan’s Corona MonTaco Presented by Don Julio, a new event added to Dan’s Taste of Summer’s culinary lineup, proves there is no better way to savor the summer than with an evening of tacos, tequila, surf and sand. Dan’s Corona MonTaco presented by Don Julio will make its debut at Gurney’s Montauk Resort & Seawater Spa this summer on Friday, July 7th, where guests are invited to experience a Latin-inspired celebration like no other, featuring celebrated chefs’ culinary twists on classic Mexican cuisine. Local restaurant favorites such as 668 The Gig Shack, Tacombi Montauk, South Edison, La Esquina, Street Taco and Pompano Restaurant. Dishes will be paired with Mexican cerveza, Spanish cavas, tequila and more. Adam Richman, host of Travel Channel’s Man Finds Food, as well as author of “Straight-Up Tasty,” will be hosting this exciting event.

A portion of proceeds from Dan’s Corona MonTaco presented by Don Julio goes to benefit The Retreat, which provides safety, shelter and support for victims of domestic abuse and works to break the cycle of family violence.

Dan’s ClambakeMTK, returns this year after much acclaim as a sold-out debut event in 2016. Gurney’s Montauk Resort & Seawater Spa will host this ocean-side food-and-drink celebration, where guests are invited to sip, savor and dance the night away. Hosting this ultimate seaside soirée is hospitality power couple Geoffrey Zakarian and Margaret Zakarian. Guests will sink their teeth into surf and turf from Montauk and Manhattan’s top restaurants, such as Duryea’s Lobster Deck, Westlake Fish House, Seamore’s, Scarpetta Beach and Smokin’ Wolf BBQ & more! Dan’s ClambakeMTK is known as the ultimate Montauk event, celebrating the beach life, coastal cuisine and everything that makes Montauk the hottest seaside destination on the East Coast.

Dan’s Grillhampton Presented by Pat Lafrieda and Hosted by Robert Irvine
It’s Team Hamptons vs. Team NYC! The biggest showdown of the summer returns to the beautiful Fairview Farm this July with Dan’s GrillHampton presented by Pat LaFrieda, a fan-favorite event that pits 8 East End chefs against 8 Manhattan chefs in a one-of-a-kind cooking competition and tasting event. Participating restaurants include Shake Shack, STK, Boom Burger, P.J. Clarke’s, The Beatrice Inn and The Restaurant at Baron’s Cove. The massive tent overlooking Mecox Bay will be filled with mouth-watering grilled fare, beer and specialty cocktails. Live music, dancing and an impressive panel of celebrity judges combine to make Dan’s GrillHampton a premiere event of the summer. Chef Robert Irvine, celebrity chef, entrepreneur, philanthropist, founder of the Robert Irvine Foundation and Chef/Owner of Robert Irvine’s Public House at the Tropicana Las Vegas will be charged with keeping the competition thriving. Be part of the action as you and a judging panel of A-List palates cast your vote for the finest food of the night.

Dan’s Taste of Two Forks Presented by Farrell Building Company and Hosted by Alex Guarnaschelli. Celebrating its 7th year as the creme de la creme of the East End summer event scene, Taste of Two Forks continues to proudly spotlight the bounty of both the North and South Forks, featuring tastings from countless top restaurants, chefs and purveyors from the Hamptons and North Fork! Set at the gracious, sprawling waterfront property of Fairview Farm in Bridgehampton, guests can raise a glass of local wine or the finest of spirits and brews to close out a summer of fabulous foodie events. Long Island wineries, East End purveyors and local restaurants such as The North Fork Table & Inn, Lulu Kitchen & Bar, Navy Beach, The Frisky Oyster, Topping Rose House and Duryea’s Lobster Deck will offer guests the best food and wine the Hamptons has to offer. Iron Chef Alex Guarnaschelli, Judge on Food Network’s Chopped, Chef/Owner of Butter restaurant, cookbook author of “Old-School Comfort Food” and soon-to-be released “The Home Cook” and host of live comedy show Busting My Chops, is back to host the final Dan’s Taste of Summer event of 2017.
