Don't Miss The Merry Madoo 12th Annual Holiday Fair on Dec. 14th

The Madoo Conservancy is pleased to once again present Merry Madoo our 12th annual holiday fair in the garden on Dec. 14th from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. A distinctive group of vendors with great holiday gifts are participating once again. From the Madoo shop, they’ll also have Sneeboer garden tools, Madoo pottery and other enticing garden gifts. Madoo-made gifts such as clove-studded Lady Apple pomanders, fresh-cut greens from the garden, and top-size (Madoo-grown) paper whites are available at the Madoo booth as well. Roasted chestnuts, vin chaude and mulled cider are on the menu.

Day Time Activities include:

Cookie Decorating (11:00 AM to 2:00 PM)  for children with delicious cookies and instructors from the South Fork Bakery to take home. Free.

Wreath Making 11:00 AM Make your own beautiful wreath with Sag Harbor-based florist Lilee Fell. Fell will bring beautiful forages greens and teach how to make a stunning naturalistic wreath.  Registration is limited to 12 people. Fee is $125.

 

The Madoo Conservancy is dedicated to the study, preservation, and enhancement of Madoo, the ever changing, horticulturally diverse garden with historic structures established in 1967 by artist, gardener, and writer Robert Dash in the village of Sagaponack, New York. At Madoo, a unique living tribute to the artistic imagination of its founder, we seek to continually engage, educate, and inspire our visitors within this entirely organic environment.
