It’s August, so by now you may be looking to do something other than another BBQ with family and friends… KDH has the answer! We loaded up the Range Rover with blankets and pillows and headed over to Coopers Beach in Southampton for Drive-In Movie night of GREASE! The Southampton Chamber of Commerce and Hamptons Drive-In Movie put together the event and KDH floral expert, Erin Meaney was in charge of the popcorn machine! All the kids and families get cozy under the stars on the hoods and roofs of their family car~ we had so much fun! Kids brought their puppies, jewelry making kits, blankies and PJs. The adults were grinning and singing along quietly to every song [KDH guilty as charged].

Don’t be sad if you missed Danny & Sandy…there are more screenings coming up! Movies show on Monday nights through August 22. The gates open at 7 p.m. and the movies start at dark. They have speakers, but your best bet is to tune your rig to FM radio for audio transmission. Parking is on a first-come, first-serve basis but everyone gets a great view of the jumbo screen. Arrive a little early and take a walk on the beach that was voted the #1 Rated Beach in America, and then pop in to the Coopers Beach Café for a fancy dinner with fries and a soft drink!

Movie titles for the next two screenings are subject to change, and the cost of admission is a donation of $40 per car load [$15 per person]. You can purchase tickets at the gate, or in advance at the Southampton Chamber of Commerce.
