Lose and find yourself at one of the Plien Air Painting classes, next month in East Hampton. The term “Plein Air” means Outdoors in French. Which is where you will find yourself painting your own original piece of artwork.
Plein Air is taught by classically trained painter, Megan K Euell, who is no stranger to paint brushes. Euell Graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2010 from Savannah College of Art and Design. She also live and student in Florence Italy for 4 years and there graduated from the Florence Academy of Art Advanced Painting Program.
Euell has 10+ years of experience landscape painting from life, and will walk you through her process – from composition and pictorial planning, to drawing, mixing paint using a limited palette; helping you to interpret the beauty of the East End on canvas.
Class begins everyday with a short demo, covering how to describe both architecture and landscape of the timeless buildings and homesteads near Town Pond and the Village Green. Classes are kept to 8 students, eto ensure extensive hands-on insturctino. This workshop includes a comprehensive drawing and painting guide, for students to keep.
