Five Patient Pets Looking For A Forever Home This Thanksgiving
Over the past seven years, KDHamptons has helped aid in the adoption of many dutiful dogs and compassionate cats at the Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation. We hope you might consider adopting one of the patients pets pictured here. What better way to kick off the holiday season than to save a life? The shelter works nonstop to show these animals a lot of love~ bathing them, holding them, and caring for their medical needs. [pssst! If the timing isn’t right for you to adopt now, you can also make a donation to underwrite one of the shelter pet’s cage care as well]. Meet our Patiently Waiting Pets of the Week…
Pictured above: Quavo is a handsome boy looking for a new home. He was found as a stray and sadly no one ever came for him. He has a lot of playful energy and would love someone to exercise him regularly. He can be a little shy at first but once he knows you he loves to spend his time with you. He enjoys exploring and going on adventures.
Dixie is the queen of the castle (above)! This gorgeous girl came to us as a stray and won us over with her sweet smile. She’s a little shy at first but she warms up fast. Dixie would do best in a home with kids 8 and older. She needs to be the one and only dog in your family. Dixie walks beautifully on her leash and loves to sit for a treat. Come by and snuggle up to Dixie today.
Meet Cookie! Cookie came to our shelter from a kill shelter in NYC. After saving her life we discovered that Cookie is a lap hoarder. She enjoys nothing more than a warm lap to snuggle up on. She’s a sweet girl looking for a forever family to call her own.
Meet Thor! This handsome boy is thankful for all the love he can get. He had a rough start to life, so now he is incredibly grateful for any kindness and affection he receives. Thor would be a great family pet. He loves kids! He would prefer to be the only pet in the home, but with the amount of love he has to give, you won’t need anyone else. Consider welcoming this happy boy into your home!
Meet Turkuaz! This elegant looking boy was found as a stray, but no one came to claim him. He can be a little shy at first; he just needs some time to get to know you before he becomes the happy, loving boy we knew he would be. Turkuaz is very active and would enjoy a household where he can be put to work and take many leisurely walks. If you’re looking to welcome a big sweetheart into your home, Turkuaz could be just the one for you!
