La Fondita opens today~ Friday, April 27th~ for the 2012 season! Estoy muy excitada!! A family favorite, or perfect date-night destination, La Fondita “little kitchen” in Amagansett serves traditional Mexican food reminiscent of the street food found in markets and taquerias throughout Mexico. Colorful “papel picado” strung from the ceiling, and tile covered counters displaying ripe avocados, fresh limes, and homemade salsas add to the kitsch and casual vibe.

KDH loves the tacos, Posole Rojo and Enchiladas the most and if the weather is warm enough, order everything to go for a Mexican beach picnic!!

In the weeks leading up to Memorial Day, they will be open Wednesday and Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and then Friday and Saturday from 11:30 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. Starting Memorial Day, they will be open Sunday through Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
