Feast End News: Four Course Tasting Menu for Valentine’s Day at Lulu Kitchen & Bar
Lulu Kitchen and Bar (126 Main Street, Sag Harbor www.lulusagharbor.com) has announced they will be hosting a special four course menu for Valentine’s Day on Friday, February 14. Each course may be paired with specially selected wines. Cost for the special menu is $85 per person, $110 per person if paired with wines, plus tax and gratuity. The a la carte menu will also be available. Reservations are recommended and can be made by calling the restaurant directly at (631) 725-0900. Menu selection, subject to change, is as follows:
To Start
Salmon Three Ways Smoked, Mousse, Crudo, Cucumber – Dill Jus or Crunchy Winter Vegetable Salad Wasabi Mascarpone, hazelnuts, hazelnut-apple surette vinaigrette.
Second Course
Celeriac “Tagliatelle” Mushroom Consomme, caramelized king trumpets, black truffle, and crispy brussels sprouts or Crab & Calamari Clam-lime broth, crème fraiche, caviar, potato allumette.
Entrées
Slow Cooked Blood Orange Chicken Armagnac chicken liver mousse, caramelized endives & chicken chips or Roasted Duck Breast & Duck Confit – Sunchoke Latke Shallots, garlic confit, baby spinach, red wine reduction.
Dessert
Molten Chocolate Cake White chocolate or Apple Tarte Vanilla Ice Cream.
