Photo Gallery: Hello Spring...Let's Get Ready to Bloom!

I can’t wait to see the first bold yellow daffodils eagerly popping up in packs all over town! Today is the first day of spring, although the temperatures feel like the last day of February. Alas, my mind and green thumb is already focused on our gardens and what changes we will make this year at our Water Mill home. We met with one of my favorite Hamptonites, Charlie Marder, to bring in some new varieties of Endless Summer Hydrangea, and I am plotting my strategy to make some of our big pool pots my own, as the husband is a bit of a garden hog.

In a couple weeks time, the grass will begin to get greener, the leaves on the hedge rows will start to fill back in and…yeah~ spring will really be upon us. Get in the mood for YOUR garden with these gorgeous photos from last spring and arrangements from Erin Meaney, owner of Topiaire floral boutique in Southampton and contributing floral editor of KDHamptons….
