The Hampton Ballet Theatre School Presents “Cinderella” Spring Ballet
The Hampton Ballet Theatre School will present their comic Spring ballet “Cinderella” on Friday, April 28 at 7:00, Saturday, April 29 at 1:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, April 30th at 2:00 p.m.. The performances will be held at the John Drew Theatre in Guild Hall, 158 Main Street in East Hampton. Advanced ticket prices are $25 for adults and $20 for children under 12 years of age for general orchestra seating. Day of performance ticket sales are $25 for children and seniors and $30 for adults for regular orchestra seating. Premium orchestra, box seats, balcony and group rates are also available.
Cinderella, danced to Prokoviev’s poetic score is choreographed by Sara Jo Strickland, director of the Hampton Ballet Theatre School, with beautiful costumes designed and hand sewn by Yuka Silvera and lighting designed by Sebastian Paczynski. The performers are all dedicated, trained dancers of the Hampton Ballet Theatre School along with guest artists Nicholas Sipes as Prince Charming and Adam Baranello and Gail Baranello of A&G Dance Company as the Father and Evil Stepmother.
This classic tale of “Cinderella,” danced by Rose Kelly, with the Fairy Godmother and the antics of the step sisters, Prunella and Esmeralda, will enchant and delight audiences of all ages. Don’t miss this wonderful fairy tale ballet, and the Prince’s quest to find the owner of the beautiful glass slipper and his true love for all of time.
