HOT NEWS!! Gurney's Star Island Resort & Marina Set To Open This May!
Situated on scenic Lake Montauk, Gurney’s Star Island Resort & Marina is The Hamptons aims to be the premier hotel destination for summer getaways, seasonal boaters, and private events. The property was formerly known as The Montauk Yacht Club and has since seen an extensive $13 million upgrade, and come this May will definitely shake things up out east. Gurney’s Star Island is not to be confused with Gurney’s Montauk, and will feature 107 guest rooms,).
The showcase restaurant of this new resort is aptly named Showfish. Gurney’s newest dining concept, offering a unique spin on east end dining, with the freshest catch on the nightly menu and the guest’s ability to completely curate the meal. Once the menu has been decided on, a one-of-a-kind presentation will follow. This concept will be an ideal location for rehearsal dinners, cocktail hours, and departure brunch.
For those not in a fine dining mood, there will be Il Forno Market (meaning “the oven” in Italian). A grab-and-go spot offering specialty gourmet pizzas, freshly baked goods, and an array of sandwiches and salads. Or snack in your swimsuit at the Pool Club with a cocktail in one hand and a Siracha lobster rolls in the other.
