On a beautiful summer evening this Saturday, June 15, LDV Hospitality founder John Meadow along with property owners Irwin Simon and Mayank Dwivedi (ISDM) celebrated the newly opened LDV at The Maidstone, hotel and restaurant amongst friends and neighbors.

The buzzy party kicked off at 7PM with cocktails in the garden, followed by a sit down dinner at 8PM prepared by LDV Hospitality Executive Chef Jorge Espinoza.

Guests savored beloved LDV classics complemented by new dishes inspired by the coastal delights of Italy. Some highlights included, local oysters, cacio e pepe cappellacci, whole branzino, bistecca alla fiorentina, and scroppino (frozen limoncello).

During dinner guests were serenaded by Francesco (Frank) Conforti who performed a live jazz set of classic Italian songs, before taking the party inside late night where he was joined by LDV staff and guests for a rousing singalong.

Notable attendees included, Brynn Whitfield, Ramona Singer, Rebecca Minkoff, Cynthia Rowley, Tata Harper, Elizabeth Kurpis, Evan Ross Katz, Joanna Hillman, and more.

The Maidstone Hotel, an iconic institution nestled within the historic district of East Hampton on Main Street, prepares to reopen this season under the discerning new vision of John Meadow and his esteemed team from LDV Hospitality, who plan to bring a touch of Italian luxury to the area with its signature culinary excellence.

The over 150 year old boutique hotel compound recognized for its whitewash shingles and green awnings will open its doors June 20, 2024.
