It’s no secret, locals and vacationers alike love jamming out to live music at the Montauk Free Summer Concert Series on the Green.  But to keep the series free, the Montauk Chamber needs the communities support at what they call, a “Concert for the Concerts”.

Image via: LynnBlue.com“The Chamber’s ability to provide a free concert series depends on fundraising help such as this event where the bands donate performances, the Montauket lends space and we collect a little admission from a few hundred attendees,” says Laraine Creegan, the Montauk Chamber’s Executive Director.

This year’s fundraiser features fan favorites: Lynn Blue Band, The Sturdy Souls and Gene Casey.

$10 bucks will get you a spot, there is no charge for children.  Plan on participating in the raffles, buy drinks at the cash bar and try something new at a food truck. “The concert series is a win/win for our guests and the community, they show Montauk is hospitable to visitors so that they will return and help our tourism businesses thrive,” says Creegan.
