KDH & Doc popped by the Peter Marcelle Gallery in Bridgehampton to check out the retrospective show of the work of Terry Elkins. Husband collects Terry’s work and we have one of his soothing Sagaponack landscapes hanging in our bedroom. The show boasted a great turnout and Terry shared some paintings that we had never seen before.
A longtime Bridgehampton resident, Terry’s career dates back to the 1970s. He has been the recipient of two Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grants and has taught art classes for the Parrish Art Museum, Guild Hall in East Hampton, and the Art Barge in Amagansett. Terry’s highly collectible works have been shown in galleries and museums around the country and in numerous public and private collections. To find out more about the artist go here:  Resume
