English Country Antiques in Bridgehampton is one of my very favorite Hamptons resources for haute home design. I think they have the best curated mix of antiques and contemporary pieces that totally capture the idyllic East End home look. English Country Antiques specializes in English & European antique furniture and accessories, as well as high end custom upholstery from design stars like Libby Langdon.

ECA is owned and operated by Chris Mead and his gorgeous girlfriend Zoe Hoare. KDH loves spending time with this dynamic design duo~ I recently lured them over to our farmhouse with savory homemade treats and cocktails to glean some advice on our living room redesign. Chris has been in the antiques business for over 20 years, but before that he had a long career as a interiors and fashion photographer, with many books published. We have a great time sharing juicy stories from past photo shoots!  Thanks for all the tips guys! Sadly, the husband isn’t budging on changing the midnight navy walls…

During the holiday season, English Country becomes a dazzling jewel box~ packed full of gorgeous items you wish you could bring home with you. Inevitably, you will stroll through the store mumbling “Ohhh, I wish my home looked like this.” over and over again.
