Well there’s only a couple of weeks before Christmas, and if you are like me you have not finished your shopping yet! Husband √, Parents √, 13-year old stepdaughter Lily, NOPE √.  Solution? I called on Southampton’s resident teen style icons— Tessa Florio and Regan Lowe [above]— to give me the scoop on what all of the haute Hamptons teenage girls are clamoring for this “grungy” season! Rocker Regan shares, “This season is totally influenced by 90’s grunge. LF has a crazy variety of the must-have trends this winter. All of the buying is done in London, which makes the inventory more special and unique.”

“The peplum shape [on Regan below] is making its come back and this definitively need to be a staple in every girls wardrobe. Head in for a styling session at LF with us, and we’ll show you how to rock it day or night!”

Denim darling Tessa [below] says, “LF carries CarMar premium denim this season, and it has blown up thanks to Kendall and Kylie Jenner modeling for the line! CarMar Denim has novelty unlike any other premium denim brand out there: camo, aztec, and cosmic are our favorites!

“CarMar also has amazing detailing such as studs, wax, and foil! There high rise denim paired with a high wedge is also a must-have look!”

“LF also carries tons of novelty tops and sweaters. All the girls are loving our graphic sweaters this season; making sweaters fun, cozy and cool.  Studs and skulls are also two top trends this season. I’m loving this studded eye sweater [above]. Pair it with a plaid kilt for an unpredictable look.”

“This super cute teddy bear hat has been flying out the door!” says Tessa.

Regan’s last tip? “Accessories are key. We love bold bright accents either in flats [above] or platform suede booties [below]. A tougher biker boot is also great for every day [above].”
