KDH has fun news to kick off 2014 ~ SHAPE magazine has asked me to become a new contributing editor! My first feature [below] is on newsstands now in the January/February double issue with stunning Petra Nemcova on the cover. Hope you look out for future stories that I will contribute to this fab magazine about fitness, wellness, and lifestyle, including news about the Hamptons of course! Further below are some behind the scenes pix from our super fun photo shoot which took place at my Water Mill home, and also on Cooper’s Beach in Southampton. We had such a fun day ~ thanks to all who made it come together so easily…

Linda Goldsmith and Matthew Valentino from the Southampton Animal Shelter brought Tina, a gorgeous black rescue pit bull, to pose for some pix with me. She quickly got into her supermodel groove and hopped up on my shoulders for a few shoots on my porch.

In 2003, after having lived in Boston and Los Angeles, photographer Alex Palumbo [pictured below] moved to New York City to pursue a career in fashion photography.  Palumbo’s style, based on how he lives his life, consists of connecting with all the people involved in the creative process—from the subject, to the editor, and everyone else in between. 

Alex’s emphasis has always been on making engaging images, while at the same time providing an enjoyable atmosphere for all involved.

Alex’s collaborations have included shooting for: Vanilla Star Jeans, Lubiam, Epson, JPMorgan Chase, Canaras Investments, and Investco. His editorial work has appeared in mainstream publications such as Fitness, Shape, DNA, MR., and Forum.
