Tin, cast-iron, and wooden toys along with dolls, dollhouses, mechanical penny banks, and marching soldiers~ oh my!

Much to the delight of kids, parents and grandparents (big kids!) throughout the East End, the toys come out to play at the Rogers Mansion during the holiday season in Southampton Village. The exhibit features timeless toys from the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

The Southampton Historical Museums & Research Center, organized in 1898 and incorporated as a non-profit in 1910, initially collected and exhibited historical objects and documents relating to the rich history of Southampton. In 1951, the Society acquired the Rogers Mansion which will host the much anticipated The Joy of Toys exhibit open now through Saturday, December 31st. Admission for members and children under 17 is complimentary, non-members $4.

Exhibit Hours: Tuesdays through Saturdays, 11am to 4pm at Rogers Mansion, 17 Meeting House Lane, Southampton Village, (631) 283-2494
