QF Gallery in East Hampton is about to open a new exhibition called “tête a tête” which features both photography and videos by various artists from Africa and the United States. Mickalene Thomas curated the group exhibition to explore various themes with visual complexity in today’s society and how female artists see themselves through the gaze of a male.  Each piece is meant to transform all kinds of conversation into visual expression.  The opening reception is Saturday, August 24, from 6-8 pm!
