On a recent trip to JMA, I discovered this amazing navy and white hand carved table [below] tucked into one of the containers James had brought in from a trip to Boston.  In five minutes in was in my Range Rover and headed to its forever home in Water Mill under my pergola − a perfect fit!

“Our hand painted signs with the names of all the Hamptons hamlets sell very well,” says James.  “They are made with reclaimed wood, whether it’s from the front of a piano keyboard cover which I recovered from an Sag Harbor village home, or painted floor boards from the Hampton Bays historical society, which is the oldest building in Hampton Bays. They change every week.”
