Gorgeous Jennifer Miller is not only one of my favorite designers in the Hamptons, she is also one of my favorite people. KDHamptons: What is the #1 summer trend in jewelry at Jennifer Miller jewelry right now?

Jennifer Miller: The number one trend I would say are still my charm necklaces [below] we actually started two years ago.  I love to mix them up with new and vintage charms!

KDHamptons: What was your inspiration in creating the charm necklaces?

Jennifer: Growing up in the 70’s with parents that designed a bohemian line of jewelry called Navarro, my charm necklaces pay homage to a design that landed them at Neiman Marcus, Barneys, and specialty boutiques called “Swept Away.” They were one of kind charm necklaces inspired by the 1974 film starring Lena Werrmuller entitled “Swept Away.” [screen shot via Swept Away below]

KDHamptons: Would you say that style of the 70’s is your favorite era?

Jennifer: That 70’s groove definitely lives on in me and I use that energy to design fresh perspectives mixed with my vintage roots for a look unlike any other! Clients can also bring me their vintage charms and we have been helping them re-purpose their charm bracelets into charm necklaces! LOVE LOVE LOVE!

KDHamptons: Which new collection are you coveting most?

Jennifer: Absolutely my forever classic three and five strand tubogas bracelets. This year I introduced a new hip oxidized version and new color combinations including a matte finish that is just so wonderful!

KDHamptons: Please share your Three Top Tip for accessorizing in the Hamptons:

Jennifer: Sure!

A.  Keep the outfit a monochromatic canvas and accessorize with jewels…from Jennifer Miller of course :)
