KDHamptons recently discovered a secret beauty jewel in East Hampton: A. Studio Spa, Salon & Laser Centers, which is tucked in the alcove of Rowdy Hall restaurant.  The spa is owned by Valerie Yugova [below], who also opened a second location in Palm Beach as well as a third spa location in the Montauk Yacht Club.  Valerie shares, “A. Studio offers a range of massages and body treatments, and we specialize in skin care, including European facials & LightPod Neo Laser treatments.” After just one of Valerie’s facials, I saw a big difference in my skin, which looked brighter and more even toned right away – amazing!

KDHamptons: How long have you lived in the Hamptons, and what do you love the most about the East End?
Valerie: I have been living in the Hamptons for 16 years. At first, I split time between the East End and NYC, and I opened the spa in February 2008.  I have now lived here full-time for ten years in this beautiful place, which I really love. What I love most about the Hamptons would be the people, my relationships, the nature and the lifestyle.

KDHamptons: What do Hamptonites need to worry about regarding their skincare? The extreme changing seasons can be brutal on the skin…
