As summer starts to come to an end, I’m acutely aware of the toll the sun takes on my skin. Even with lots of sunscreen and a big hat, it’s impossible to escape the damage Mother Nature can do to your beauty. I put in a call to Cayli Cavaco Reck,  the beauty queen of the Hamptons and founder of  Knockout Beauty. I headed to the Bridgehampton outpost for the Knockout Beauty Signature Facial which employs the new Tria Wave and a LightStim Treament.

The signature facial, perhaps, should not be called signature at all because no two treatments are alike. Knockout Beauty is committed to delivering results with each treatment and with this in mind my session began with an assessment with licensed esthetician, Ludmila, who has almost 30 years experience of customizing skincare.

My treatment included a full cleaning, followed by a non-invasive peel and a hydrating Algae Mask treatment along with the new Tria Wave Machine.  The new machine takes treatments to the next level and involves vitamins A, C and growth factors give enhanced results. This innovative system helps with the penetration of the active vitamins and essential growth factors into the skin and provides fast, effective results.  Twenty minutes of the pulsed Iontophoresis is equal to seven hours massage and five minutes of the low frequency Sonophoresis is equal to 700 hours massage.

My facial finished off with an LED LightStim Professional Treatment. Harnessed by NASA, LED light and Multi-Wave technology help clarify, smooth and firm the skin. The therapeutic light has anti-inflammatory and healing properties which helps heal acne and stimulate collagen and elastin production. Known as the “happy light” LED is clinically proven to dopamine levels. The whole experience was fun and relaxing and the best part is that I looked like a fresh faced younger version of myself when I left the shop! How great is that?
