Michino shares, “I am a handbag designer working and living in Paris since 2003.  I’ve worked for multiple prestigious maisons including Saint Laurent, Givenchy and Delvaux before establishing Michino in 2014. I was born in Tokyo, educated in New York and trained in Paris. After a family trip to France when I was 8 years old, Paris became my obsession – this voyage early on has changed my life and I dreamed of living in Paris, working as a designer and mastering the French language.”

“The quote, ‘Fashion passes, style remains’ have always resonated in me.  That is why Michino is about quality materials and discreet branding to emphasize about style over fleeting trends,” shares the designer. “My international exposure has helped to define Michino’s mission: express and inspire the core theme of my works ‘Follow Your Dream’ – by learning more about different cultures of the world, encourage individuals to discover one’s own style.”
