Dan’s Taste of Summer recently celebrated Dan’s Corona MonTaco presented by Don Julio, because there is no better way to savor the summer than with an evening of tacos, tequila, surf and sand. Dan’s MonTaco made its debut at Gurney’s Montauk Resort & Seawater Spa this summer on Friday, July 7th, where guests were invited to experience a Latin-inspired celebration like no other, featuring celebrated chefs culinary twists on classic Mexican cuisine.

 Dishes were paired with Mexican cerveza, Spanish cavas, tequila and more. Adam Richman, host of Travel Channel’s Man Finds Food, as well as author of “Straight-Up Tasty,” hosted the exciting event.

Local restaurant favorites include 668 The Gig Shack, Tacombi Montauk, South Edison, La Esquina and Pampano Restaurant.  Guests enjoyed the ultimate oceanfront fiesta on the outdoor terrace under the stars at Gurney’s Montauk Resort & Seawater Spa.

La Esquina won the Don Julio Judges award for best taco in Montauk and 668 The Gig Shack won the Corona People’s Choice Award.
