With Independence Day nearly here, I am busy prepping for our annual family 4th of July seaside soiree! (Check out my recap of last years party here!) However, this is year will be different with Anders Ruff’s help! From red white and blue recipes to star-spangled recipes we are almost ready for our guests!
Firstly, lets talk decorations: We always go simple & sweet. Deck your Hamptons home with large red, white, & blue bows or large American flags. When it comes to setting the table hit Anders Ruff’s website to download the nautical 4th of July Printable Party Package! The package includes perfectly patriotic accents that will set your BBQ apart from others.
That being said, don’t forget its just a BBQ and you want to relax by the pool with family. So don’t treat it like a black-tie affair! Buy cases of water bottles and wrap them with Anders Ruff printables instead of breaking out the china. Also, make cocktails in large quantities, no need for a bartender on duty all day!
Finding easy treats and snacks for your guests throughout the day can be hard and sometimes a hassle to prepare! In my house we always have lobster salad on hotdog rolls for 4th of July lunch. When it comes to sweet treats Anders Ruff has perfect suggestions. From red, white and blue chocolate covered pretzels, marshmallows, and strawberries to delicious mini cheesecakes and cupcakes dress them in the theme with a firework decoration.
Finally, you can’t forget about the fun! Aside from the typical summer fun in the pool and on the beach there are a few 4th of July staples of course, s’mores making and playing with sparklers! This year Anders Ruff makes s’mores a bit more festive with these bag toppers. This a good way to make sure you have enough ingredients for all the kids attending!
