Topiaire floral boutique has expanded to include Topiaire Candy Shop, A Sweet Candy Cafe. Owner and KDHamptons contributor, Erin Meaney, fills old-fashioned candy jars with the sweets she loved from her childhood: fishies, squirrel nut zippers, bit-a-honeys, ice cubes, chocolates, fudge and so much more ~ all packed in cute little candy shop bags.

This sugary new Southampton shop isn’t just snacking for sweet treats. Erin tells KDHamptons, “I recently hosted my daughter Shaye’s sixth birthday party at our candy cafe ~ what child wouldn’t want their birthday party in a candy shop! We set our table for twelve young ladies, and with the help of my daughter and three nieces we had a delicious time serving tea sandwiches, homemade cupcakes, and hot cocoa with a dollop of whipped cream.”

“The girls also made an adorable Christmas ornament, and then played a round of candy bingo. Playing a game to help tip up their “candy bag” favor, each child was able to select their favorites from our candy jars. Shaye wore a birthday crown and truly felt like a little princess! We have another party booked for this weekend in which we are teaching flower arranging and painting wooden snowflakes. Should be lovely!”

Pop by the Topiaire Candy Shop for a satellite wafer, dark chocolate dipped orange slices, ophelia candy bars with dark chocolate and potato chips, chocolate with chilies, chocolate Santas, and Lake Champlain chocolates. While you are snacking on your candies you can have a cup of hot cocoa with fresh whipped cream!
